Looking for a fun way to get involved, meet other families, and make a meaningful impact at Laurelwood? The PTA is looking for volunteers and there truly is something for everyone!
Many of these roles are flexible, team-based, and designed to fit around busy family schedules. Whether you have a few hours a month or want to help lead a big event, we’d love to have you involved.

We know volunteering can sound intimidating, but many of these roles are shared, flexible, and supported by experienced PTA members. Volunteering is one of the best ways to meet other families, support students and teachers, and help make Laurelwood such a special community.

LAURELWOOD PTA EVENT CALENDAR
Welcome Laurelwood Tigers to the 2026-2027 school year!
The Laurelwood PTA works with the parents and faculty to coordinate events that enrich our children's educational experiences and build a strong community. PTA volunteers organize and help run events throughout the year, including the Ice Cream Social, STEAM Night, Family Snowball Dance, Project Cornerstone, Scholastic Book Fair, Reflections Art Program, and more. Your donations support our school’s events, provide field trips for the students, and provide supplies for the classrooms that help your student thrive. There are volunteer opportunities, both big and small, so that you can play a role in creating an amazing experience for your child at Laurelwood.
Please become a member of the Laurelwood PTA. By joining the PTA, you are not committing yourself to volunteering or serving on the board. Becoming a member means that you can attend our association meetings, giving you a voice and vote in the PTA’s decisions for the school.
